Transfer Ownership of Your Domain Names

Transfer Ownership of UK (.co.uk, .org.uk) Domains

To transfer the ownership of a domain name, the domain must already be in Turtle Design's database. If that registration is currently held by another company, you will have to transfer the domain to us first. (Please see above for domain transfers.) Please also note that the Registrar now requires a transfer fee of £30.

• The current owner will receive a Transfer or Surrender of Registration form from Turtle Design to fill in following the instructions on the form.
• After completing the transfer form, the current owner will need to send it to the proposed new owner for him or her to fill in.
• Return the completed form with confirmatory letters to Nominet UK.

Transfer Ownership of Global (.com, .net, .org, .biz, .info) Domains

To transfer the ownership of a domain name, the domain must already be in Turtle Design's database. If that registration is currently held by another Registrar, you will have to transfer registrars first. (Please see above for domain transfers.)

• The current owner must send us by post or fax a signed letter of authorisation agreeing to the transfer.
• The proposed new owner must send us by post or fax a signed letter of acceptance agreeing to the transfer.
• The letter must be on your company's stationery if you are a business.
