Transfer Your Domain Names to Turtle Design

For domain transfers, additional verifying information may be required. It generally takes up to 7 days to transfer a domain name. We will confirm the transfer by email when it is complete.

Transfer UK (.co.uk, .org.uk) Domain Names to Turtle Design

You may transfer a UK domain name you currently own to Turtle Design at no cost unless it is due for renewal, which is currently priced at £10 for a 2-year period. After the transfer, all future domain renewals will then be handled by Turtle Design.

To transfer your UK domains:

• You must first instruct your current domain name administrator to update the IPS TAG on your domain to TURTLEDESIGN (note the capital letters and no space).
• Once the IPS TAG has been changed, you should then complete our online order form to initiate the transfer.

Transfer Global (.com, .net, .org, .biz, .info) Domain Names to Turtle Design

You may transfer a global domain name you currently own to Turtle Design for the cost of a 1-year (or more) renewal. This one-year renewal will be added to your existing domain expiration time. So, for example, if you still have 4 months left before the domain name expires, the new expiration is now in 16 months.

There are some restrictions on domain transfers in this category:

• You may NOT transfer a domain name if that name was registered or transferred within the past 60 days.
• You may NOT transfer a domain name if that name, or any information associated with it, is currently in dispute.
• A domain has expired and the current registrar has locked the domain.
• A domain has been locked for security reasons.
• A pending Bankruptcy of the SLD holder.
• Any other valid reason.

To transfer your global domains:

• Click the order button below and fill in our online order form.
• After completing the order form, you will need to notify the current administrator for the domain name that they will be contacted via email to verify this transfer for you.
