  1. What are the payment options?

We accept payment by cheque on the presentation of invoice or direct bank transfer. Please contact us for our bank details.

  2. Will I be notified when my domain is about to expire?

As from 01 June 2003, a reminder will be emailed or posted to you before the expiry date. Accordingly, it is important that we have an up-to-date record for your contact details. If we do not receive your confirmation for renewal upon expiry, it will be assumed that you do not wish to keep the domain.

  3. How do I set up my email account in Outlook Express?

  4. Why do I need a web hosting account?

Before you can do anything with your registered domain name, you will need to host it on a server to allow you to have a publicly accessible website or use it as an email address.

  5. What is the difference between a pop account and email forwarding?

POP (Post Office Protocol) basically acts as a "post office" (mailbox) for people without a permanent network connection to hold their email until they can retrieve it. This is usually the one provided by your ISP. If you have more than one pop account, you will have to check all of them separately to get your email.

Email forwarding "forwards" messages sent to a certain email address to another email address. The latter is normally the pop account that you use to retrieve your email. For example, John sends an email to info@your-domain.com and the message is automatically forwarded immediately to you@your-ISP.com. This feature is very useful when you have a large number of email addresses and do not want to check all of them separately.

All our hosting packages include at least one pop account and extra pop accounts are available. Click here for more information.

  6. Where should I upload my HTML files and images to on the FTP server?

All the HTML files and images should be uploaded to the "web" directory on the FTP server.

  7. How much do extra pop accounts cost?

Extra pop accounts are available at £3.00 (+VAT) each per year.
